Sharing E-Mails

You can share your E-Mail with internal users. 

To make E-Mail available to internal users, proceed as follows:

  1. Create a new personal folder to which you will copy or move the required E-Mail.
  2. Share this folder.
  3. The users have to subscribe to your shared E-Mail folder in order to have access to the E-Mail.

In the following manual we will take you through this steps.

Step 1

Create new Folder

Create a new personal folder to which you will copy or move the required E-Mail.

Right-click on the inbox and click "New subfolder".

 

 

Enter the desired name and press "Add".

Step 2

Share this folder

Right-click on the folder you want to share or the folder you would like to use for sharing your e-mail, followed by pressing "Permissions".

Search for the desired user in the search area ("Search here ..."). You can select "Standardgruppe" to share your folder with all users of your e-mail clients groupware.

You can set the permissions by pressing on the blue text.

Press "Save" to save those permissions.

Your folder is now shared, this is shown by the person icon next to the folder.

Step 3

Subscribe E-Mail folder

The users have to subscribe to your shared E-Mail folder in order to have access to the E-Mail.

Click the Settings icon on the right side of the menu bar. Click "Settings".

Click on "E-Mail" in the sidebar. Click on "Change IMAP subscription" in the display area.

Open all the subfolders by clicking on the black triangles.

Activate the checkboxes of the folders that you want to subscribe to in the "Subscribe IMAP folders" window . Click on "Save".

Step 4

You have successfully shared your E-Mail folder and subscribed the share folder. The E-Mail which you would like to share can now be copied or moved to this folder.
