openDesk now available on Swiss servers – stepping stone offers exclusive test demo

Together with Adfinis, stepping stone now offers a free openDesk demo. This makes us one of the first Swiss companies to provide the sovereign office and collaboration suite for testing, securely hosted in Switzerland.

Digital sovereignty is becoming increasingly important, especially for organizations that value data protection, independence, and transparency. With openDesk, a modern, open-source office and collaboration suite is now available that meets exactly these requirements.

Starting today, interested users can test openDesk free of charge for one month. The demo environment was developed in cooperation with Adfinis and is fully hosted on Swiss servers. This makes stepping stone one of the first Swiss companies to offer such a test instance.

openDesk combines email, calendar, documents, chat, task management, and video conferencing in a single, unified interface. The solution was developed by the Centre for Digital Sovereignty (ZenDiS) and is entirely based on open-source software.

The Swiss Digital Sovereignty Network (SDS) highlighted the new Swiss demo offerings in its newsletter today, showcasing the growing ecosystem of open and sovereign software solutions in Switzerland.

For more in-depth testing, we also offer dedicated instances upon request, ideal for closed groups or specific use cases. Further information about openDesk can be found in the OSS Directory.
